Dr. Shaila Ramandev developed an interest in dentistry during childhood, and her desire to care for others continued to grow throughout her education and career. Today, she brings that same compassion, dedication, and patient-centred approach to every appointment. As a general dentist, Dr. Shaila provides thoughtful care for patients of all ages, with particular interests in children’s dentistry, esthetic dentistry, preventive care, and long-term oral health.
Education and Clinical Achievement
Dr. Shaila’s excellence in pre-dental studies led to early acceptance into dental school. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where she completed concentrations in pediatric dentistry, periodontics, and esthetic dentistry.
Her clinical accomplishments were recognized with the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics.
Advanced Training and Experience
Dr. Shaila completed a pediatric dentistry externship at the University of Washington in Seattle and advanced esthetic dentistry training at Tufts University in Boston. She has also observed at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver and Supersmile Dentistry in New York under the guidance of Dr. Irwin Smigel, widely recognized for his contributions to aesthetic dentistry.
