Beyond Conventional Dentistry
At Elements Dental, we take a comprehensive approach to oral health that goes beyond treating individual teeth. Our biological and biocompatible philosophy combines advanced technology, minimally invasive techniques, and carefully selected materials to support both your oral health and overall well-being. By focusing on prevention, precise diagnostics, and treatments that work in harmony with your body's natural healing processes, we provide personalized care designed for long-term health.
A Metal-Free, Biocompatible Practice
We are primarily a metal-free dental practice. Every material we use is carefully selected for its biocompatibility with your unique biology, which helps minimize adverse reactions and supports your long-term health. This includes BPA-free resin fillings and metal-free ceramic restorations such as fillings, inlays, onlays, crowns, and veneers.
We also offer metal-free ceramic implants and titanium implants. The ceramic implants, or zirconia implants, are body-friendly alternatives to conventional implants for those seeking metal-free options. In select cases, we may use metals for dentures when appropriate. Additionally, hybrid zirconia/titanium implants are available as an alternative.
Minimally Invasive by Design
We use specialized equipment and advanced techniques to preserve as much of your natural tooth structure as possible. Our laser dentistry allows us to perform many procedures with little or no anesthetic. Ozone therapy supports infection control and tissue healing naturally, without harsh chemicals. Together, these approaches mean less discomfort, faster recovery, and better outcomes.
Guided Biofilm Therapy
Our hygiene program goes beyond traditional cleaning methods. Our team of highly trained hygienists understands your specific needs. When appropriate, we may use Guided Biofilm Therapy or air polishing. This precise approach helps manage the bacterial layer in your mouth, which can lead to decay, gum disease, and systemic inflammation. This advanced protocol supports optimal periodontal health and is especially important for maintaining implants, where effective biofilm management is crucial for long-term success.
Safe Mercury Removal
For patients with existing amalgam fillings, we adhere to strict safety protocols for mercury removal and detoxification, ensuring the protection of you, our team, and the environment throughout the process. We utilize the SMART technique described by the IAOMT organization.
Residual Infection Diagnosis and Treatment
Hidden jawbone infections, (or cavitations), can have a significant impact on your overall health and are often missed in conventional dental settings. We have the training and technology to identify and treat these conditions, backed by our in-house CBCT imaging, providing diagnostic precision that supports your systemic wellness from the ground up.
Low-Radiation Digital Imaging and Cone Beam CT Technology
We are committed to minimizing your radiation exposure. Our practice uses advanced digital X-ray technology that produces extremely low levels of radiation, and we take X-rays only when clinically necessary — never routinely. For more complex assessments, we have an in-house Cone Beam CT (CBCT) scanner, which provides precise three-dimensional imaging of the jaw to evaluate cavitations, hidden infections, anatomical abnormalities, and airway structure. This level of diagnostic detail allows us to identify what conventional two-dimensional imaging often misses.
Platelet Rich Plasma and Platelet Rich Fibrin Therapy
We utilize your body's own regenerative intelligence through both Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) therapies. PRF represents the next generation of regenerative treatments, providing a concentrated source of your own growth factors and immune cells. This is applied directly to surgical or healing sites to accelerate tissue regeneration, reduce inflammation, and promote a robust healing response. Combining PRP and PRF demonstrates our commitment to enhancing your body's natural healing abilities, rather than working against them. Together, they speed up recovery, facilitate healing, lower the risk of complications, and reduce pain.
Myofunctional Therapy
Myofunctional therapy focuses on the function of the tongue, facial muscles, and the patterns we use for breathing, chewing, and swallowing. These habits significantly impact airway health, sleep, jaw development, and overall well-being. Many people do not realize that improper tongue posture, mouth breathing, or dysfunctional swallowing can lead to sleep-disordered breathing, orthodontic relapse, TMJ issues, and even chronic fatigue. At Elements Dental, myofunctional therapy is a key component of our airway-focused approach, helping patients retrain these foundational patterns. This ensures that dental treatments are effective, breathing improves, and the body can truly heal.
