Dr. Ray T. Chow is a graduate of the University of British Columbia.

He has been a dentist since 1994 and since then, he has never stopped improving himself.

After receiving certification training in Medical Acupuncture from the University of Alberta in 1996, Dr. Chow went on to take part in advanced training programs from the Pacific Implant institute (Vancouver, B.C.), Spear Center (Scottsdale, AZ) and The Academy of GP Orthodontics (Rockwell, TX).

He is also a graduate at the world renowned Kois Center (Seattle, WA).

Dr. Chow regularly attends courses across the world to learn modern evidence based techniques.

However, he is also grounded in the principles of ancient healing and compassion.

Because of training in multiple areas of dentistry, he is able to provide multiple unbiased treatment options as compared to practitioners with limited areas of expertise.

The use of acupuncture and other healing modalities are combined with modern technologies in my everyday practice.

The comfort level for Dr. Chow’s patients are of the highest importance.

With this in mind, himself and his hygienist team always makes sure that every procedure is painless, quick and comfortable.

The technologies used in Elements Dental office are often developed for this purpose, as they allow procedures to be complete in a shorter amount of time and often in one appointment.

A number of techniques are used achieve this; Acupuncture is sometimes used for anxiety and Claustrophobia, painless needle techniques, sedation and laughing gas.

Some procedures may also be done with lasers without the use of needles.

We may even incorporate sedation with our procedures. But above all, the knowledge and skills form completing thousands of procedures over decades of practice.
